樓主,你咁做真係好唔arm,會害到一個做野好既印印"永久"失業!
邊個新僱主會信個印印係因為個舊僱主請左佢年幾,先因為印印英文唔好而炒?!呢個印印實無人敢請啦.
你害死人啦!
你做事只顧自己,你既小朋友係呢個咁既薰陶底下成長,英文有幾叻我唔知,人品有幾好就有數得計.
你再三思啦.

真係睇吾過眼,個d無工人既屋企,係未d細路吾識講英文姐...?都做左1年9個月啦,都吾俾佢完約~~我屋企請左好多年bun,我d細路一樣出去讀phonic,cambridge啦...

Dear Yan Yan Mummy,

I wold like to use her until the contract finish as well. But there are something I am concern:
1) As I am a working mother, I was not at home before 7pm. What if she cook something Bad to my kids, and what if she tread my kids BAd in the rest 3 months?
2) The new maid will arrive on Monday, will they get along to each other?
3) I don't have place for 2 maid (Sleep)
4) Will she try to broke my things at home during these 3 months?

It is definitely unfair and unreasonable to fire a maid for such a "reason". No sympathy on you if you are brought to labou ...

Dear Flo0602,

I know PL maid english won't be prefect. But what I think is to provide an english environment to my kids. The Pl maid that I hire was a teacher and I tried to talk to her on the phone which I think is OK.

Please comment.

可否安排她到處睡，例如到妳親人家屋企，早上到妳家，還可以ｈａｎｄ－ｏｖｅｒ　比妳新工人:lol:
同她說妳為不和她續約，叫她早點找新顧主，叫她不用擔心，妳會替她講好說話，她都想妳幫佢，她不敢玩野ｇｅ:-P
再提下妳不要期望賓妹ｄ英文太高，她們ｄ英文水平比舊一背差了很多，又無ｇｒａｍｍａｒ．
其實有個好工何必多費心機？就算佢英文好，但無愛心又或者唔老實，妳仲死:-(

One of my previous Bun used to talk to my 4-year old daughter in this way :
"you want what ah?"
"you do what ah?"
At that time, I almost wanted to 度啞佢.....

I know that you would like to provide your kids an English environment, but I think the "environment " will only be desirable when it's free from mistakes!

Glad to hear you have given up your mind of terminating her.

(1) Be a considerate employer even the relationship is coming to the end. Sit down and talk frankly to her that you are not going to renew her contract, telling her it is not her fault but simply you want to get a Filipino for the kids. Praising her that she is a good girl and thanking her for the hard work she has done for the past two years, you promise to make a good reference letter and recommend her to her prospective employers. Do all your best to make her and her future secured. You may also consider throwing her a farewell party before she leave your house. I don't think she will do any bad in return.

(2, 3 & 4) Go tell the agency you want to keep the old maid until the contract ends. See if they can keep the Filipino in the boarding house for two months (yet you have to pay for the expenses incurred cum salaries). As far as I know, maids leaving one month before the contract ends are still deemed as "contract-finished maids". I strongly oppose the suggestion of keeping the outgoing and incoming ones together, especially one Indo and one Filipino. With all due respect, Filipinos tends to look down on Indos and might turn out to be evasive in taking tasks during the overlapped period.

Your suggestion is very good in the sense that it is good and fair to both the Filipino maid as well as the Indonesian maid, but I don't think achow as well as most other employers would be willing to pay 2-month salaries as well as the food and accomodation fee to the maid when the decision (although may not be a good decision) has already been made.

我個女讀國際學校,我第2個PL工人請佢果時貪佢係
1. 小學老師有教育學位 2. 生過3個小朋友
結果來了2星期後我就想即刻抄佢,終於捱左2個月.

第3個工人急住請,來了之後發現不能講完整英文句字.
但係佢有愛心,有耐性,心地善良.懂煮食,由於不能和我
們好好溝通,所以我又等左2年,比佢完約.重同佢找僱主,
佢而家係奧運3寶到做.無細佬,四個大人,全部上班,講
中文,我地重有聯絡,佢好miss我個女.

做人要有D社會責任.......................................

聽到呢個消息,都開心d~~將就下d過渡期啦.應該無事既..
請工人好講彩數架,好似我今次呢個咁,吾係刻意搵,係agent介紹俾我既,過到來,原來佢好好學歷架,除左大學畢業,仲有急救証書,教人游水同英交tim.佢而家每晚講故事俾我個女聽,有時放埋帶聽tim.3個月內,我個女剛4歲,我而家成日都聽到佢成句英文咁同個工人講野..呢個真係我估吾到wor~佢吾學壞既,我當係中左獎架啦..吾好強求太多野啦...

Dear All,

After read all your comment. I discussed with my husband and the maid yesterday night. We decided to hire her until the end of the contract.
Really, she did nothing wrong, and I shouldn't treat her in this way.

Thank you for all your advice.
