Hi moms,
I am relocating to London for a short period (3 years) with my husband and a 1.5 yr old girl. Would like to bring along my filipino maid who has been working for me for nearly two years. I read from website that I need to pay her minimum wage as governed by law in the UK. But does such requirement on wage apply to both live-out and live-in domestic helpers? My maid would probably live in my house and I just wonder whether I have to pay her as much as 5GBP per hour : O That will be like triple of her current salary, gosh.
Anybody has experience to share on that please?
