I totally agree with the comments about the bad experience on Hai Nan Island.
I've just been back from the trip. The island is just a money eating machine. Every tourist spot charge you from 60 to over a hundred dollars, excluding all facitlity fee inside ......what a resourceful island....You know even the famous heavenly cliff and sea corner have been fenced off to form a paid tourist spot. Not even a glimpse can be made without going beyong the gate........horrible. Every supermarket is a tourist supermarket, not an ordinary one. Even a driver hired by us at $400 tried to dub us six clever people. He said the seafood market we wanted to go has been "exploded" a day ago and urged us to go to another seafood market he knows well. .......We finally went to
the one we wanted just after a very complicated "process". What a tourist Hainoi Island....When you go on the St, every five second a taxi will come by and offer a price for you to go to the downtown. The drivers were just annoying and kept on telling you that you should not
wait for any public transport,,,,taking a longer time la, the weather is hot la, you may be very tired la..........a nightmare.
