Bought a double sens in this leather because it feels really soft and smooth when I touched it.
Took it out yesterday and some raindrops landed on it. I wiped of most of it immediately with tissue but missed two spots on the strap. I only found out about.the missed spots when I saw two small patches of darker colour. (My bag is red x light brown) Kinda of like a grey T shirt absorbing sweat around the collar.
The patches were gone after a while, but am a bit worried if the moisture has already got into the leather.
Anybody has experience with this leather? please share how to maintain sikkim.
i have a double sens in sikkim too. once i put in an unscrewed bottle of distilled water in and poured out around 30ml. i wiped it immediately and let it air dry inside out. no water marks left.
but, it gets dirty as I use it extremely casually. I don't know how to clean those…:(
