I'd like to share my experience with all the other BF moms. My BB is now 7 months old. He is still drinking mama milk with formula milk as supplement. During the days when the weather was cold, I got heavy flu and felt very tired for long time. My doctor advised me to keep certain distance from my BB to avoid getting him infected. So at that time, I stopped feeding him mama milk directly from my body. I learned to pump milk out for him.
Can you imagine how great it is! I can get enough milk for him to drink without having a high change of infecting him! What's much more perfect is that, as time goes on, he is so smart that he can either drink mama milk or formula milk, directly from my body or from milk bottle. He started to learn how to swallow solid food as well. He can eat with spoon and like to take some water as well. So great my BB is!
