It really depends on the size of the apartments or houses. For my case, the house comes with nice-sized maid room (also functions as the laundry room because washer and dryer are there). It comes with its own bathroom and air-conditioner but no build-in closet.
When I have one maid, the room is pretty spacious for 1 person. She will put her stuff on the upper deck of the bunk bed. However, when I have 2 maids, it's a bit crowded. They put their suitcases under the bed and their stuffs on several wire baskets attached to the wall.
