My boy got excellent results in ICAS but not very good in Naplan. As you know child can perform better if they are in good mood or do it more seriously.
Yes. there is no homework at all and just play everyday. That's why I asked him to do one topic of Mathsonline everyday if possible. So far, he is doing Year 9 topics in Mathsonline even though he is in Year 5 only. He just did Year 8 ICAS Maths in August and I am waiting for his result.
It seems to me that ICAS is not hard. My boy got ICAS Year 5 Math in credit when he was in Year 2. He got HD in ICAS Year 4 Maths when he was in Year 3.
