Laptop is better option. If budget is tight, go for Dell Inspiron or HP Essential, cost less than 5K. Also consider extending ur maintenance as u might need it (around 1K for 3 yrs).
Or else, go for Lenovo x1 carbon, cost $17K but could last 4, at least, six yrs.
