Hi littlemak,

Are you talking about the "Magic Key" VCD??

I've a set of VCD name "Magic Key", if you child like Oxford reading tree series, they must like "Magic key"

the stories are short (less than 10 min @) hence easy to keep short time and control the tv time for kid.
also, the stories are not violent, not "very exciting', but really in "kind-hearted and loving" ways. good education to kid.
esp good for watching time before sleep, as not exciting lah !

tonight i bought a whole set of (Dr. Seuss) 《苏斯博士双语经典 at Life Book & Stationery Company (11/F).

我今日終於都去到新思維啦,係其中1個bk mami帶我去,我都要係度感謝佢

我買左套神奇兒童英語the magic box,返到屋企,即刻新屎坑,要個仔睇,佢又好鍾意,成套40本書加40vcd,折左都係$290

我見到好多野8折左都係同當當差唔多,總之一句抵抵抵

1. Kipper is a series of VCD story with the main character is a dog called "kipper". the pace is slower and hence fits more to the younger kids. not the same as Magic Key, which i also have.
2. Magic Key is more suitable to older kids as the pace is quite fast and the sentence is long.

已經有三個月沒有到旺角的大陸童書書店了, 近來有什麼新書適合1-3及4-6兩個年齡組別的孩子看呢? 有沒有那些書店正進行減價呢?

You may try "Milly & Molly", suitable to 4-6 years old;
another books from 小樹苗 are quite good： "識字魔法書" and "拼字故事書" (1 set 8 books). Recommended by my Montessori Tutor.
