I was in a similar situation six year ago and I ended up cutting her out of my life. Even after so many year, I did not regret a bit and as a matter of fact, that was definitely one of the best decisions I have ever made. Of course, I have to give credit to my hubbie who has always been on my side whenever his mother tries to make waves. Just so you know, we share similar background too - went to school in a foreign country and stayed ther after graduation. That's why I can understand exactly how you feel. Girl! Listen to you heart and believe in your feelings. Trust me, you will know when it comes to a time that you have to put an end to it. Take good care of yourself and wish you luck.
